These are the support channels Meta itself lists, and who each one is for. Last updated: October 2026 ## In short ### Does Instagram or Facebook have a customer service phone number? No. Meta says it has no general public phone number for customer service for Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp or its other products, and that phone numbers claiming to be Meta support are potentially scams. Use the Help Center and the Meta AI support assistant; Meta Verified subscribers also get chat and email support, and advertisers use Meta Business Support Home. Meta notes it may offer specialized phone support in certain countries or for certain products. ## No phone number: what that means for you Meta says that Meta, including Instagram, Facebook, Messenger and WhatsApp, has no general public phone number for customer service, and that phone numbers claiming to be Meta support are potentially scams. Such numbers turn up in search results and comments; don't call them, and never give a login code or password to anyone on the phone. Open the Instagram Help Center in a browser where you're logged in to your Instagram account. 2. Select Ask a question…, type your question or pick a suggested one, and send it. 3. Follow the steps it gives. Meta says it can troubleshoot settings and passwords, guide you through appeals or securing a compromised account, and check your [account status](https://atakanrecoveryservices.com/glossary/#account-status). Meta also says AI can make mistakes, so double-check anything that looks wrong. ## Meta Verified support: who it's for Creators and businesses with an active Meta Verified subscription on Instagram or Facebook get help from human agents, and their requests are prioritized. Chat support works only in the Instagram and Facebook mobile apps, not on computers. Each case gets a case ID; if you don't reply to the agent within 7 days, the case closes automatically and can't be reopened.
