Step 1: Check the notice and your account status
The ban notice usually names the reason, such as a Community Guidelines category, an age-related concern or spam-like activity. The account status section in the app shows the violations on record and whether an appeal is still possible. Take screenshots of both.
Step 2: Appeal with a clear reason
Use the appeal option in the notice. Explain in one or two sentences why the decision is wrong, for example that a video was taken out of context or that you meet the age requirement. Be accurate and polite.
Mistakes that make it worse
- Creating a new account to get around the ban
- Re-uploading the content that was removed
- Sending the same appeal over and over
- Buying followers or using automation tools while under review
- Paying someone who promises an instant unban
When to get help
Get help if the appeal was rejected within minutes but you believe it was automated, if you are a creator or business that depends on the account, or if the ban followed a hack.
