In short
Which platforms have a phone number for account help?
Of the platforms in this table, Meta and Google say plainly there isn't one: Meta has no general public customer service phone number for Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp, and Google says you can't call it for help signing in to your account. Most platforms handle account problems through their help center, in-app forms or chat, and Apple, Google and Steam say they never ask for your password or verification codes. Treat any “support number” from a search result, ad or comment with suspicion.

Before you contact support
- Use only the routes in this table or on our official links page. A “support” page on any other domain isn't official.
- No real support agent needs your password or a verification code. Apple, Google and Steam say so in writing.
- Calls, DMs or comments offering “direct access” to platform staff are a classic recovery scam: check the message before you reply.
- Write down dates and case numbers, and describe the problem clearly: our templates help.
Frequently asked questions
Does Instagram or Facebook have a customer service phone number?
No. Meta says it has no general public customer service phone number and that numbers claiming to be Meta support are potentially scams. See how to really contact Meta.
Can I call Google to get my account back?
No. Google says you can't call it for help signing in to your account, and that it doesn't work with any service that claims to provide account or password support. Use Google's own recovery page: see our Google account guide.
Someone called me saying they're from Apple Support.
Be careful: Apple warns that scammers can call from what looks like a real Apple number. Hang up and contact Apple yourself through its official channels. Apple says it never asks for your password or verification codes, or asks you to turn off security features.
Can you contact a platform's support team for me?
We have no special line to any platform. We work through the same official channels listed here, and we never ask for your password or codes. What we add is preparation: the right route, a clear request and follow-up. See how we work.
