What is the fastest way to remove a fake account impersonating me?
Use the platform's official impersonation report, include proof of identity (or a trademark for a brand), and show how the fake account misleads people. One complete report usually works better than many quick in-app reports.
Step 1: Document everything

Step 2: Use the right report
In-app reports are quick but handled in bulk. Instagram, Facebook and TikTok also offer dedicated impersonation reports, and several accept reports from people without an account. For a brand, a trademark-based report is often the strongest route.
Step 3: Warn your audience
Post a short notice on your real account naming the fake handles and saying that you never ask for money or codes in DMs. It limits the damage while the report is reviewed.
