How do I get my Kleinanzeigen account back after a hack?

Secure everything first

Get the account reactivated

After a takeover, Kleinanzeigen restricts the account so nobody can act in your name. Your account and ads become temporarily invisible, but they can be restored.

Fake “account blocked” messages

Scammers send messages claiming your account is blocked, with a link to a fake login page. Kleinanzeigen lists this as a typical scam, along with fake “payment completed” messages and fake PayPal payment screenshots. Report suspicious links through Kleinanzeigen's form, and never enter your login details on a page you reached from such a message.
