What should I do if my eBay account was hacked?
If you can sign in, change your password immediately, check your contact information, shipping addresses and payment details, and change back anything the intruder altered. If you can't sign in, contact eBay immediately. eBay also recommends changing your email password.

- Bids, offers or purchases you didn't make
- Listings you didn't create
If you can still sign in

Change the password of your personal email account too. eBay says it should be different from your eBay password.
Money and purchases
If someone used your eBay account without permission, eBay says to contact your credit card company and your bank, and that you may also want to file a police report.

eBay says that when someone is trying to hack an account, or already has, it may place a temporary hold on the account for your protection, and will work with you to secure it.
How do I stop it from happening again?
eBay recommends a strong password you don't use elsewhere, a different password for your email, 2-step verification, and passkeys, which let you sign in with a fingerprint, Face ID, pattern or PIN instead of a password.
